Ryan joined DL3 in 2020 and oversees operations, strategic initiatives, asset management, marketing, government relations, and legal affairs. He is a seasoned advisor with 15 years’ experience in law, real estate transactions, higher education, and government. Throughout his career, Ryan has successfully advised clients on commercial transactions collectively valued at more than $20 billion. In 2021, he earned his designation as a Counselor of Real Estate and has been recognized by Crain’s Chicago Business as a Notable Executive of Color in Commercial Real Estate and a Notable LGBTQ Executive. Ryan earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Chicago Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Economics with highest honors from Emory University. His civic and community engagement includes serving as a Leadership Greater Chicago Signature Fellow and service on numerous not-for-profit Boards, committees, and initiatives to benefit the residents of Chicago and Illinois.
